Jason Cho is an Operations Principal at Butterfly and is responsible for managing the execution of portfolio companies’ value creation plans, as well as developing and implementing systematized operational strategies. He is actively involved with Butterfly’s investments in Bolthouse Farms, Pacifico Aquaculture and Modern Restaurant concepts.
Prior to joining Butterfly, Mr. Cho worked at Riot Games as the Vice President of Finance, where he oversaw the finance and facilities groups as well as being closely involved in the overall financial strategy of Riot Games including M&A transactions and equity liquidity strategies. Prior to joining Riot Games in 2012, Mr. Cho completed his MBA from Harvard Business School and worked at TPG in the Technology Buyout Group where he was involved in a variety of buyouts and investments including the leveraged buyout of IMS Health, recapitalization of Celerity and a variety of minority and debt investments. Before joining TPG in 2007, Mr. Cho had worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking team. Mr. Cho graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering; he also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
