Melissa Peterson

Office Manager

Melissa Peterson is Butterfly’s Office Manager and also operates as Executive Assistant to Co-Founder and Co-CEO Adam Waglay. She is responsible for Butterfly’s administrative and HR functions and assists with various accounting and payroll activities. Ms. Peterson also manages the daily operations and special projects of Mr. Waglay as well as the broader Butterfly team. Ms. Peterson has over 25 years of experience in office administration across KKR, Hunt Sports Group and Embassy Suites, among others.

Prior to joining Butterfly, Ms. Peterson worked as Mr. Waglay’s Executive Assistant at KKR. Prior to joining KKR in 2007, Ms. Peterson held various roles with Steadfast Companies, Steinbrecher and Associates, Applied Earth Sciences, Hunt Sports Group and Embassy Suites. Ms. Peterson studied Personnel Management at the University of North Texas.
