Romitha Mally is a Technical Advisor to Butterfly focused primarily on exits for portfolio companies with subject matter expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions, IPOs and capital raising.
Ms. Mally has over 25 years of experience across equity research and investment banking. She was the senior equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs covering the Packaged Food sector from 2000 to 2005 and subsequently moved to investment banking and where she most recently served as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at UBS. Ms. Mally’s passion is to work with founder-led companies to help articulate their vision and stories in strategic sales or IPOs. She has led high profile transactions such as the sales of Dollar Shave Club to Unilever, Bai Brands to Dr.Pepper, Blue Buffalo to General Mills, Primal Kitchen to Kraft, and Vital Proteins to Nestle. Ms. Mally also led the initial public offerings of Blue Buffalo and e.l.f. Cosmetics. In 2019, she was voted one of the top 100 most creative people in business by Fast Company.
Ms. Mally lives in New York City with her husband and two sons. She is part of the founding team of a new household cleaning company and recently formed her own boutique investment bank, The Mally Collective, with a focus on advising high growth disruptive consumer companies.
